Delivering postharvest

South Australia and western Victoria

After harvest we receive all deliveries, including through port direct, under our postharvest procedure. Deliveries are available to select sites.

To deliver from this date, please ensure you:

• call ahead of your delivery to book in (contacts for each region listed above), helping us plan our operations and ensure an efficient delivery 
• provide information including your details and NGR, commodity and variety, carrier details and chemicals applied when you book
• complete a postharvest delivery declaration form in addition to the delivery advice and declaration form for every load.

Our postharvest delivery procedure helps to ensure grain from our network continues to meet the needs of end use customers and maintains local and international market access.

Food safety and quality testing

In line with our food safety and quality management processes, we will continue to conduct testing which includes:

• classifying all grower loads on delivery. If a segregation is not available for the specified grade for warehouse, please speak to the site supervisor to discuss a delivery option.
• falling number tests on all wheat (except SFW1 and FED1 grades) and malt barley to ensure the quality has not deteriorated while in storage.
• postdelivery chemical residue testing on all deliveries after we have received it.

Growers can choose to provide a sample for indicative classification and/or chemical residue testing prior to delivering. If you would like predelivery testing, we ask you to plan this in advance as results can take up to ten business days once the sample is received.
