We are the largest importer of protein meals into Australia and supply product to a range of domestic feed manufacturers and customers.

We operate three bulk import facilities located at Inner Harbour, SA, Lara, Vic and Newcastle, NSW.

Through our fully-integrated, global network, supported by our robust food safety and quality management processes, we are able to meet the specific needs of our customers and efficiently deliver commodities by vessel, train, bulk container and road.

Soybean meal

We source soybean meal direct from our crush plants around the world, utilising our extensive logistics network to provide local customers with timely, consistent and efficient supply.

Through Bunge’s presence in Argentina, where we buy soybeans direct from farmers and operate the country’s biggest crush plant, we are one of the largest suppliers of soybean meal to customers in Australia and New Zealand. 

Soybean meal is a high source of protein and is rich in indispensable amino acids, including lysine, tryptophan and threonine, with high digestibility and conversion.

This makes it highly beneficial in poultry diets, supporting muscle development in broiler chickens and helping maximise egg production in laying hens.
